Endress+Hauser和Hahn-Schickard宣布成立合資企業，共同致力于提高食品加工和其他工藝過程的安全性。雙方精誠合作，Endress+Hauser BioSense公司在德國Freiburg成立， 致力于快速現場分子檢測分析技術的研發，目的是能夠有效檢測出水和飲料中的污染細菌和病毒總數，轉基因食品或變質牛奶。

多年以來，Hahn-Schickard研發公司一直與德國弗萊堡大學的微系統工程系密切合作，共同研發快速診斷檢測技術，使用便攜式儀器實現細菌濃度極低的感染病原體檢測。合資公司成立后，擴大這項技術的應用范圍，從醫療診斷領域擴展至流程工業和實驗室自動化應用，是公司的一大使命。

創新集群

在成立之初，Endress+Hauser BioSense公司的運營地介于德國弗萊堡大學和Hahn-Schickard公司之間。明年，將遷址至大學創新園區FRIZ，該園區位于工程學院內，目前正處于建造階段。新公司的成立擴大了Endress+Hauser在Freiburg地區的影響力，研發人員已經在研發新傳感器技術、生物傳感器和工業4.0解決方案。

Endress+Hauser BioSense公司將與位于柏林的IST Innuscreen公司攜手研發在過程和實驗室環境下使用的分子檢測分析設備和技術，IST Innuscreen公司同屬于Endress+Hauser集團旗下企業。IST Innuscreen公司生產多種規格的核酸分離和分子檢測診斷產品，包括PCR診斷試劑盒和檢測技術。

經驗豐富的領導團隊

在新成立的合資公司中，Endress+Hauser占股75%，Hahn-Schickard占股25%。Nicholas Krohn博士擔任新公司的總經理，在食品分析領域內他擁有淵博的專業知識和豐富的應用經驗。Stefan Burger博士和Martin Schulz博士是Hahn-Schickard公司的兩名資深員工，他們均獲得德國弗萊堡大學分子診斷博士學位，是新公司的管理團隊成員。
